What is this?
PACT’s Economic Opportunity Center (EOC) provides various resources for job training, job education, job placement, and financial literacy for low-income family households. Services are free of charge and services can be arranged after work hours based on the client’s preferences.
Who qualifies?
In general, those who are in low-income households and are in need of a job.
What to bring
Basic contact information
Name, phone number, email
Photo ID (just in case for verification)
Proof of household income
Paystubs, SSI, pension verification letter, etc.
Application process
Call PACT’s KPT office to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins not available as EOC is currently short staffed.
Go to appointment to conduct a one hour intake.
Client has to make sure to bring picture ID and any form of household income.
Person doing the intake will most likely be the client’s intake specialist.
After doing the intake, the intake specialist will determine what type of EOC services clients will participate in based on the client’s needs.
Client will have schedule another appointment with intake specialist right after doing the one hour intake.
Client will have to commit to EOC’s services weekly.
Clients may qualify to receive a bus pass, gift cards (for clothes/shoes) to help prepare for job interviews, as well as getting assistance to apply for a state ID.
