Purpose of Hirenet Hawaii 

Hirenet Hawaii is an online database for clients that are looking for job assistance, training, and education opportunities all in one area. This also connects with the state’s Unemployment Insurance program as this is a requirement for those who wants to receive those benefits. Most of the services are available at no cost.

Steps to create a Hirenet Hawaii Account 

  • Go to the Hirenet Hawaii website: https://www.hirenethawaii.com/vosnet/loginintro.aspx?plang=E  

  • Scroll down and click on option 3: create a user account 

  • Go click on the individual registration; where clients will have access to the latest job openings, online resume, career guidance, search for training and education programs, find information on local employers. 

  • Click “I agree” on the Privacy Agreement 

  • Create username, password, and security question  

    • Make sure to write it down  

  • Enter Social Security Number  

    • This is an important step since this is linked to client’s Unemployment Insurance Account for benefits 

  • Enter basic primary location information 

  • Enter email and basic contact information  

  • Enter employment information 

    • Enter Unemployment Eligibility Status 

    • For “Are you currently looking for work” click “Yes”   

  • Finish entering the remaining information for the account, then click “Finish” at the bottom of the registration 

Next steps? 

Client may now have the option to either go straight to the job search section OR start the resume builder 

  • It is highly recommended to create an online resume if client is participating in the Unemployment Insurance program as well as having a good impression when starting a job search.
