What is this?
Also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), it is a food program provided by the Hawaii Foodbank that provides low-income seniors with food insecurity with food boxes that include fruit, vegetables, protein, milk, starches, and other food products. This program is provided annually, which slots can be filled quickly and there will be a waitlist for it.
Who qualifies?
Low-income seniors (at least age of 60 years old)
Household income below 130% of federal poverty income guidelines.

Application process
Make sure to qualify.
Go to https://hawaiifoodbank.org/csfp/ and click “DOWNLOAD AN APPLICATION”.
Complete application and mail to the following address:

Honolulu, HI 96819
Once application has been approved, choose ONE Senior Food Box location site.
Bring a valid photo ID to the location site for every monthly pick up.
If waitlisted, there is an option to attend the monthly pick up at chosen location site and may be able to receive a food box if there are any left over.
Recertify every 12 months.
