Life giving One;

When virus continues to threaten us, how can we sing a song of healing?

When violence traumatizes us, how can we sing a song peace?

When hatred shakes us, how can we sing a song of hope?

When fear numbs us, how can we sing a song of love?

When death in our family, neighbors and community overwhelms us, how can we sing a song of life?

But on one early dawn, Love cannot contain death, Light defied darkness, and Life wins.

And so, breathe in to us the breath of love to take away our fears so that we can become fully alive.

Breathe in to us the breath of light so that we can fully trust in the promise of a new dawn

Breathe in to us the breath of your life so that we can fully walk into unknown paths with confidence that no matter what, life wins.

And as your people who receive this life-giving breath, may we rise so that through us we will always be your heart, your love, your hands and feet to;

give life to those who feel lifeless,

give hope to those who live in the shadow of darkness and shattered dreams.

give joy  to those  who are in despair
give hope of new beginnings and possibilities

give sacred spaces for healing well.

Until, all your children and the whole creation will sing the song of healing, of peace, of hope, of love and life.

We pray this in the name of our sustainer and sojourner.  May it be so.
